will a foam head improve the binaural recording capability

    Hi,

    I've heard from a few sources that trying to repurpose a foam head to put between the ears will give better binaural results. Are there any thoughts on this?

    Hi @Kim N Munro,

    Thank you for your question.

    Yes, a dummy head will increase the binaural nature of the microphone as it will more closely mimic the reflections similar to a human head. We do not include the full head because many of our customers prefer the smaller, low-profile design.
