Ear Canal Extension for 3Dio Free Space Model

    Hello,

    I’m currently using the 3Dio Free Space binaural microphone, and I’ve encountered an issue with the ear canal length. The ear canal on this model seems too short to fully insert noise-canceling earbuds for inner-ear sound recording.

    Is there any accessory or recommended modification available to extend the ear canal so that noise-canceling earbuds can be fully inserted and sealed in the canal?

    Any suggestions or product recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

    While there is currently no way to modify or extend the ear canal of our existing models, we are working on a new model that will have deeper ear canals and will accommodate ear buds and in-ear monitors.

    We are hoping to release that model next year.
