tripod grip loose/spinning

  Hi, the tripod grip on my 3dio binaural mics is loose and just spins. As a result when it is screwed onto a tripod the ears wobble and spin around on the grip. I have opened it up but becasue of the placement of the circuit board it is very hard to tighten or loosen the screw holding it in place. Do you have any advice on how to fix this issue?
