My 3Dio has been experiencing a ringing issue whenever I talk or cup the ears, but it suddenly stopped one day.
It’s been about a year, and then out of the blue, the ringing returned. I’ve tried various fixes, like unplugging and replugging it, rebooting my PC, and toggling the bass roll-off on and off, but nothing seems to work. The ringing is still there, and it’s really frustrating.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you're microphone is experiencing a ringing sound.
A ringing sound, typically caused by feedback, could be due to the microphone picking up the sound of your headphones. Please try recording an audio sample without using any headphones (or speakers) turned on/up or having them nearby. Listen back to see if you can still hear the ringing. If you can, please reply with an audio clip so we can hear what you're hearing.
If the ringing doesn't appear in the audio clip, that it most likely the cause. To fix this, you can reduce the volume in the headphones or turn down the gain/sensitivity settings for the microphone input.
Also, over the ear headphones are better at sound isolation and do a better job at preventing audio leaking out when the volume is turned up.
