3DIO FS right ear has muted sounds

    I recently purchased a 3dio FS (not XLR) and have been using it most days with no issue. Recenntly however the left ear began to not pick up sounds properly. I works and can detect sound but it all sounds mutted and some low frequency sounds don't even get picked up at all.

    I have replaced the battery, reloaded my recoprder, restarted my PC, unpluged everything and plugged it all back in again but nothing has fixed the sound quality issue.

    I don't know what else I can do so I am trying to get help now.

    Hi @Mathew Pelletier,

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear your microphone isn't working properly. I have a few questions:

    - Did you use a brand new 9V alkaline battery? We've had some customers report issues using rechargeable, or non-alkaline 9V batteries.

    - What recorder are you using? Do you experience the same issues if you plug headphones and monitor the sound directly from the recorder? (taking the PC out of the equation)

    Feel free to send pictures or video of your audio setup if that is easier.
