Question About Screw Size for 3Dio FS Bottom Plate

    Hello,

    I am currently using a 3Dio FS microphone, and I recently tried to remove the screws on the bottom plate in order to replace the battery. Unfortunately, the Phillips head of one of the screws became stripped, so I need to replace it.

    I am currently in South Korea, and I have tried both M3 screws commonly used in Korea and 4-40 screws commonly used in the US. However, neither size seems to fit properly. The screws I purchased are actually smaller than the threaded holes on my 3Dio microphone, so I cannot tighten them securely.

    Could you please tell me the exact specifications of the screws used to secure the bottom plate of the 3Dio FS, including:

    • Screw diameter/thread size
    • Screw length
    • Thread type
    • Phillips head size, if applicable

    I would really appreciate it if you could let me know the exact screw specification. If you sell replacement screws, a link to where I can purchase them would also be extremely helpful.

    Hello @dla gPtjd,

    Oh no! Sorry to hear about that.

    The screws we use to secure the lid to the center enclosure is a #6-32 x 1/2", Machine screw, Phillips flat head, 18-8 black oxide finish.

    We do not sell these screws, but they are very common screws, at least here in the US.
