new 3dio right side has a muffled sound and doesnt record the same way as the left side does which does it perfectly wel

    Hello i have just purchased the 3dio in hopes of doing ASMR. i have noticed that the right side does not record the same way the left does. I can include audio files i already have them recorded. The left side records totally normally and responsive. when i for example rub my fingers together on the left side of the ears it records normally. If i rub my fingers together on the right side it has a muffled sound. BUT if i rub my fingers at the same time on the left side it has no problem recording the right side. let me know if i need to elaborate on anything. I noticed that the left side is perfect and the right side has potential issues and maybe i just need a replacement? its a pretty major problem for me it completley affects the way it sounds because well i cant do quiet noises in the right side.

    Thank you for the explanation and the recording. That is very helpful.

    First, can you tell me more about your recording setup?
    What device(s) are you using to process the audio?
    Can you confirm the settings for each L/R channel are identical throughout the signal flow?
    It sounds like you have a gate effect or some other effect applied to the audio. Do you still experience the issue without any effects applied?

    Feel free to send photos or a video of your setup if that's easier.
